the compny only offers a year warrenty on their dryer. i should have researched the product and read the reviews on it dirst. a year and a month after the warrenty expired the dryer ran continously and the clothes were still wet. i researched it and found the common issue fir this is the sensor board. replaced it and a year later the same problem occured. if this is a knows issue samsung, recall the product or replace the bad board with a good one .
i m very disppointed, why isnt it recalled for a defective board ?
i would not recommend purchasing a samsung .

well, i have had had a pair,washer and dryer! the washer a couple little problems like it wouldnt drain because a hose came off the drain,by itself.
but the dryer,had been down 5 times. 3 belts and 2
idler pulleys! luckily this last time it didnt break the belt, but i keep a spare anyway,because of past experiences. unfortunatly,i guess im going to have to keep a spare idler pulley as well, or just get a new dryer! the dryer works great when it runs!
just wish it would stay running! jimi

dries kind of slow, there is no light inside. at least if you are going to leave out the light, make the drum white so maybe you can see something in there. it's very dark inside. dumbest thing ever.

the dryer was professionally installed. on the first use the dryer wasnt getting hot on the highest setting for both auto and manual setting.

I wonder if this dryer will last beyond my 5 year warrantee? It seems to do everything well but I seriously question it's quality and therefore wonder how long it will last before the next major failure. After seeing this major breakdown so soon after purchase I expect to have replace it shortly after my 5 year warrantee expires.

It has a great feature called sensor dry. The dryer can sense when the clothes inside are dry before the cycle is done and it shuts itself off, saving the you money on your electric bills.

Overall goods-- inexpensive, runs quiet, good capacity, nice big lint filter, door can be switched to open either way, plenty of settings. Overall cons-- easy to scratch top as its plastic and doesnt seem very durably made, afraid to set things on top of it such as laundry basket or soap bottles. The dry sensors are very touchy. It kept shutting off while I was drying throw pillows even though they were not dry yet..

Always so nice to get something new but this dryer is fantastic. Love the SENSOR DRY feature that stops the dryer when clothes are dry. No more guessing at selecting drying times. This dryer does it for you. Plus it has other nice features like reminding you to clean the filter and has a child safety lock. Five star dryer and highly recommend! Good price for all the features.

I like the layout of the features on this dryer. My only complaint is that the door opens from the side, rather than from the top. I dropped several small pieces of clothing on the floor because when i grabbed one thing, other small things clung to it and dropped as soon as I cleared the door opening. My prior dryer opened from the top so that there was the open door to catch things that fell. Overall though, this dryer performs well and is easy to use.

This dryer has many different settings and options that you can choose depending on what you size of a load your drying and what type of fabrics you're drying. I especially like the timed drying feature. There is also a wrinkle prevent feature that can be set for different time intervals. This is a very nice option to have.

Burned-out 2001 version Sears Heavy Duty dryer and wanted a higher capacity/more efficient dryer. This model rated well on Consumer Reports within its price range and had the features I wanted (timed dry , moisture level dry, high temp dry) with a simple operational panel.
Looks good thus far.
Will report after a couple months of use.

There is never a good time to replace an appliance and of course, we were caught off guard. Having purchased a Samsung refrigerator prior, I was well aware of the quality and the build, so when I saw this dryer, I was already impressed.
So many features for so little money. You would have to spend a lot more to get these features in another brand. Large, 7.2 cubic foot dryer handles our large family and more.
Quiet, efficient and clearly a workhouse, I would dare say there is nothing else out there that offers so much for so little investment.
Would definitely buy the washer when the time comes!

I've had this dryer for 2 weeks now and have dried about 7 batches of clothes. It does an excellent job and the wrinkle free option is great for when you put in perm press clothes and can't wait around until they're done. I also like the chime like end of cycle signal - so much better than a buzzer. My only complaint is that I wish the door were a bit smaller. It comes down to about 8" above the floor. We usually kept an laundry basket in front of the dryer, but with the size of the door the basket gets in the way. Other than that I'm very pleased with it.

First time using sensor drying, it's great. A little inconvenient on cleaning the lint trap but very easy to get to. Had to read the manual but it was easy to understand.

I find the dryer extremely noisy. Had service come to home. They removed 3 plastic disks which they thought would make it less noisy. Still annoying. Must close door to room so as not hear it.

This drier with the moisture sense is outstanding. I no longer have to worry about the timer going off and having damp clothes. The capacity is also amazing. I can easily handle my family of 6 laundry much quicker both washing and drying. Drier has all the features a typical family could want. Great product and will buy more Samsung appliances in the future.
